A FRESH LOOK FOR 2024
Thank you to CGI Creative Graphics International (Pty) Ltd for transforming our spaces within our home. Several of our areas were beautifully transformed into inviting and fun spaces.
SOCCER STARZ AT CRCH
We have been so incredibly blessed by two of our long standing donors; Marguerite Conradie and Brian Faure, who have made it possible for our children to participate the Soccer Starz Training Program. Our children now receive soccer lessons once a week and are thoroughly enjoying it!

We were overjoyed when Kelly Geoghan from Sleepy Stars all the way from Ireland decided to pay us a visit. Kelly has 20+ years’ experience working in childcare. She is a qualified Maternity Nurse, Emergency Medical Technician, First Aid Instructor, CPO and also holds a diploma in Nutrition for children. Kelly is a member of the International Association of Child Sleep Consultants and also the Association of Professional Sleep Consultants. We are so grateful to her contributions to the Home.
BOUNCING FOR JOY!
We are always very excited when the easter bunny decides to pay us a visit. This year was no different. Thank you to the Wool Corner for your kind gesture and donation of soft knitted easter toys!
CRCH ANNUAL BAZAAR
On Saturday 27 April the Christine Revell Courtyard turned into a hive of activity as we hosted our annual Bazaar. With everything from Bric-a-Brac to sweet treats, books and clothing available our first official fundraiser was well supported by the loyal Christine Revell faithful and the local surrounding community. The day proved to be a huge success. Thank you to each and everyone that contributed and hosted a stall on the day. Know that each little bit of funds generated goes a very long way in helping us build brighter futures for the children in our care. Thank you from the Management Committee, Staff and Children.
STAFF FAREWELL
This May we said goodbye to one of our staff members who had been in our service for 15 years. Mary-Anne Hendricks is a gentle soul whom we have been privileged to have on our staff. We wish her a happy retirement and will surely miss her dearly.
A TESTAMENT TO HOW WE BUILD BRIGHTER FUTURES
On 22 April 2024 we said goodbye to two little boys who had been in our care for almost 4 years. These two brothers became residents of Christine Revell in 2020. We were privileged to watch them grow and develop, which is why our hearts were bursting with joy when we were informed that they had successfully matched for adoption. It has really been a magical process to watch them meet and bond with their parents. We will miss them dearly, but we wish them all the best for their future.
