Pictured here is our newly installed “loadshedder inverter” comprising a 5 kVa inverter and 4,8kWh lithium ion battery. This will provide lighting to all corridors in the Home as well as power to the offices to enable administrative workers to continue with their work in the event of further loadshedding. This was possible due to savings experienced on our Solar Project which was also recently completed. This was made possible through donations from the Stichting tot Steun from the Netherlands, International Precision Trading NL also of the Netherlands, and an anonymous donor. A huge thank to you all for helping us to make our children’s home brighter – literally!
